I had to head in to the IRS to verify my identity as this is my first tax return in the states. Is there any update as to when my federal tax return will hit my account??

it says my federal tax return was accepted on turbo tax but no money has been seen yet

The IRS releases most refunds within 21 calendar days after the e-file has been accepted (received), not 21 days from the e-filing date. Please see the below FAQ for more information. You can track the status of your federal return by visiting the IRS Where's My Refund? site.
