I had to file an amend and I already received and spent my state refund. Do I owe the refund back and the extra or just the amount asked of me?

I spent my state refund. But it says I owe state. So would I have to pay back the refund and what I owe or just what I owe?

You would only pay back what it shows you owe at amendment. When you go to work in amendment, your refund meter resets to $0 to reflect any changes. So, at the end, you are only responsible for paying back that amount.
