In 2018 I didn’t have an official job I drove my mother around as her so far so to say and my payment was a free place to live because I had moved I think I’m out of work for dominoes for a little while but I do not think I made enough money for Amy thousand dollars I don’t think of that but I mean thing in 2019 was I had to move back in my mom and I was driving her helping her out I didn’t make an income so that’s why I didn’t file taxes when you don’t make any money what’s the point in filing am I right to thousand 19 when I worked at Archer Western was the one that I was attempting to file with the 2020 and then you guys audit me and then basically took all my money for both of those years and gave me seven dollars
@Jason_polak1 It sounds like you are pretty confused about what it means to file a tax return and why you do that, as well as being confused about how people get tax refunds. If you have not been working and earning income then you likely do not have much---if anything--- to enter on a tax return or any source of a tax refund. Did someone else support you? Did someone else----your mom for instance--- claim you as a dependent on their tax return?
When you have a job and some income to enter on a tax return, we can help you with how to file a return. If you worked somewhere in 2021 and you have a W-2, we can help with that.
You are correct I was not informed until I spoke with a representative yes I worked in 2021 and before that I worked for 10 years from 2004 to 2014 at Papa John’s and filed every year I just had a wife passed away and I had to take some time and move back in with family and yes they claimed me while they were supporting me through my rough years I just made a mistake in 2020 by trying to claim 2019 and 2020 both in one year I was not aware that you couldn’t do that but now I am and I thank yall for your support
