I had my computer repaired and lost the Turbo Tax software. How do I reload the software so that I can file amended returns?

I have the returns saved so I only need to replace the software.

if you used online, nothing was lost because everything is kept on the TurboTax servers. All you need to do is log back into your account. On the other hand, if you used desktop, you need to log in to your account to download and install the program. Likely, the return, which is only stored on your computer, is now gone, so you will have to start over once you install the app (and state if you had that)

I did have a desktop and called Turbo Tax for assistance in getting the software back. You are correct, the tax returns were not there.  But I had them in the Turbotax folder in my computer. and uploaded them to the software and saved them there as well.
