I got double charged for filing my 2015 taxes-one for the download and one for the online, which is how it was filed. I would like to get 2016 download in return.

I thought I was using my software which I bought in April, but when I logged in to complete the returns in October my account brought me to the online version, which I was not aware.
I had to pay again in October, after already paying in Aprile

This is mainly a user community forum, so nothing account-specific can be handled here.   You can phone TurboTax Support on Monday to work out your double-payment problem.   I don't know which way they will handle it--whether they will refund your previous payment or provide you a 2016 download product.  The 2016 downloads won't be available until November 14.

To get a phone number for TurboTax Customer Support, fill out the small form at the link below.  Enter a short question or a few keywords.  You will be assigned a phone number based on your issue. The phone number will not display when they are closed, so no need to fill out the form until Monday.

TIP: When you type your question into the form there, do not use the term "refund", or it may send you to an automated phone hotline to check on your tax refund.  Instead, input something like "billing issue" or "speak to an agent about my fees."
