I got an email to amend my state return, but my state return is not showing up in the options to amend (only federal is an option) though I did already file my state.

I am an oregon resident, and filed my taxes last month. I just received an email that I needed to amend for some reason but my state return is not appearing as an option.

Follow the instructions in the link below to amend only your state return in your case. Do not change anything until you read the instructions. TurboTax needs to know the original numbers and the correct ones for a correct amendment.

Filing an amended return will require federal entries as a rule. You can ignore the 1040-X for federal and continue to file your state return amendment.

I've done that, but there is no option to select state return even though I filed through turbotax. the only option available to me is federal.

After you sign in, click on the State in the left pane, from the Oregon summary page, look for Amend a Return under Other tax situations. @karen
