I got a tax relief check for 2017 but got it in 2018, do I claim it for 2018?

I received a property tax credit for 2017 but never received the check until February of 2018. I received a second check in September of 2018. Do I claim both checks on my 2018 taxes?

Yes, if you received them both in 2018, they are 2018 income.
