I got a notice of deficiency proposed increase in tax and notice of your right to challenge letter from the irs after amending with turbo tax

Read the notice carefully ... are they still referencing the original return ?   If so will the amended return solve this issue ?   If so the amended return probably has not been processed yet as they are taking 4 to 6 months this year.
