I got a letter from IRS stating they need my W-2 Form. Can I mail my original W-2 form?
I mailed my return and I received a letter from IRS requesting missing document(s) they needed from me, which in my case, was only my W-2 form. 1) Can I mail my original W-2 form to IRS? 2) If not, how can I get a copy IRS will approve of that is considered legit? I was told photocopies are not valid, nor acceptable. Please answer first question before second one please. Thank you!
