I found an error when I printed my return but I can no longer edited it. I need to fix the error. What can I do?

I will likely need to ask for an extension at this point.  How can I do that using Turbo Tax?

Ok ... first it is too late to file an extension.

Next, if you have not filed the return yet you can open the return to make changes by logging in and scrolling down and click on ADD A STATE then make the needed corrections.

I tried that. I do not have any state returns and am not able to modify. It is allowing my to efile but not able to go back

Clicking on Add a state does not make you really add a state.  It just lets you get back in to the return make changes.
