I forgot to deduct a high energy furnace that I purchased prior to 2016. Is there anyway to get that deduction now?

You would need to go back to the year it was purchased and file an amended return.  

You have 3 years for the due date to file an amended return and get a refund, so the 2013 was due 4-15-2014 and can be amended until 4-15-2017.  So if it was 2013 or after you are OK.
