Mortgage interest paid is on schedule A as an Itemized Deduction.  Did you get a schedule A?  Or was the Standard Deduction more?

No, Turbotax worked on Sch B only.  Can I proceed to mail without it?

You don't attach the 1098.  IRS already has that.  You only need to attach W2 or 1099 forms that include federal withholding.
