What did the IRS say was wrong ?  We might be able to explain it here in the forum.  There are several common reasons we know about, like:

 

A very common adjustment.  Did the IRS say you didn't report any taxable Social Security on 1040 line 6b?

 

Or missing some income?  It might have been reported on the wrong line.  Like an IRA got on 1040 line 5 instead of line 4.  Or you left off a W2 or 1099.
