Do you mean that someone prepared all of those returns last year---for 2021 through 2024? How did your friend file those past year returns? Only a 2024 return could be e-filed. Returns for 2021, 2022, or 2023 had to be filed by mail. They had to be printed, signed and dated by you, and mailed to the IRS and state. Did your friend have you sign the returns and did you mail them?
TurboTax does not ever get any information from the IRS or your state after your tax return has been filed, and cannot intercede with the IRS for you.
It is up to you to have a conversation with your friend to see exactly what they did, and to follow up with the IRS yourself. IF the returns were filed, then you can use the IRS refund site to look for information.
You need to use your filing status (single, married fiing jointly, etc etc) your Social Security number, and the amount of the refund shown on line 35a of the Form 1040.
