I filled my taxes on the18th of January and on the 22nd i got a text that my taxes were received but i thought that filling starts on the 29th, is this an error?

There is no need to worry. Although the IRS may have received your tax return, you are correct in that, they will not process if before January 29, 2018. Click the link to see additional information from the IRS regarding E-Filing.
