Every tax situation is different and the processing time varies from person to person. The IRS reports that they issue 9 out of 10 tax refunds within 21 days, it's possible your return may require additional review and take longer to process. Where’s My Refund? has the most up to date information available about your refund. The tool is updated daily (usually overnight) so you will just usually need to check once a day.
For more on the timing of your refund please see this TurboTax FAQ.
Please see these TurboTax FAQ's on why some tax return refunds may take a while to be released and what steps you can take:
If you are concerned and it's been over 21 days since your tax return was accepted by the IRS and you decide to call them here are some tips when contacting the IRS at 1-800-829-1040:

If you are anticipating a state tax return refund those processing times vary from state to state. To check on a state refund please visit your state Department of Revenue website.
When I go to irs where's my refund it doesn't work says they can't find me on file and I can't call irs due to the coronavirus it's been since January 21st since they were accepted ?? 🤦♀️
@pickled189 Be sure when checking Where’s My Federal Refund? site that you are entering only your Federal refund amount. This can be found on your Federal form 1040, line 21a. If you paid any fees out of your federal refund, use the refund figure prior to the deduction of he fees. Also if you filed joint, be sure to enter the filers name that appears first on the return. Updates are made by the IRS daily, usually overnight.
If you are still unable to pull up your status, check to see if your return was filed by checking your e-file status. If no status is showing then the return was not completed and submitted.
If you don't see a status, go through the TurboTax File section again. Be sure to go all the way to the end and select Transmit my returns now.
When you e-file your federal return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first one will say that your return was submitted. The second email will tell you if your federal return was accepted or rejected. If you e-filed a state return, there will be a third email to tell you if the state accepted or rejected your state return.
If you find your return was not completed and e-filed, you can follow the complete instructions in the link below:
