The IRS mailed you a letter saying that your efile had not been accepted (received for processing)?
Or did it say they didn't approve your refund, and is making changes? That is more likely.

Who was the letter from? The IRS or Turbo Tax? Or was it an email? If it was a IRS letter what letter code is up at the top in the corner like CP12 or LTR...?

When you efile you get back 2 emails. The first email only confirms the transmission. The second email says if the IRS (or state) Accepted or Rejected your efile. When you log into your account you should also see the status and if it was Accepted or Rejected, Started, Printed, Ready to Mail, etc. What does it say?
