I filed my taxes on Friday and they are still pending. When will they be accepted

The IRS doesn't open to take efiles until Jan 26.  Unless you get lucky and they take it early for testing.

The IRS will not start accepting 2025 federal tax returns until 01/26/2026.

While you may have pressed the File button, the return cannot be officially e-filed until the IRS systems are open for the season. The IRS will begin accepting and processing 2025 tax returns on Monday, January 26, 2026. 

It will remain pending until the IRS opens.
