Your tax return is the form you send to the government that shows your income and calculates your tax. The money the government sends back to you is your refund.

There is no way to have TurboTax fees taken out of a state refund. The fees can only be taken out of a federal refund. Since you have already received your federal refund, it's too late to have any more TurboTax fees taken out of it. You will have to pay the TurboTax fee for the state tax return by credit or debit card.

Ok. I don’t understand why didn’t my state taxes get filed with my federal like usual. I thought it was included in the package I got like usual. If I’m not mistaken I thought my state and federal are always filed together and any and all fees are subtracted from my refund. Is there anyway to fix this problem or any leniency with them fixing this mistake? I had moved 3 times last year to different states and now have to come up with 177 at a time I have no income. Is there any flexibility in my options

Sorry.....but no.   The option to use the third party bank to extract your fees is only available when you are filing a federal tax return.  That bank can only receive the refund from a federal return and take out the TT fees and then send you the rest of the federal refund.  They have no way to receive state refunds, and cannot perform "refund processing" when you are filing state returns by themselves.   You will have to come up with a way to pay TurboTax  fees for filing your state returns using a credit or debit card.
