I filed my taxes and I looked at the Wheres my refund status today and it said "mid February to late February" but it never said it was received or approved,what happen?

The message that you saw is an indication that your tax return is included in the PATH Act. That being said, the IRS hopes to start processing those returns after today, February 15th. Check back with the Where's My Refund tool after tonight as it should begin to update soon as they start to process the PATH returns.

so basically, say it get approved the 16th, i still have to wait 21 days to get my refund in my bank account or will i get it the 27th?

We have no way of knowing when they will release the refunds. IRS is only stating that they will release the first batch of refunds beginning on the 27th.

I think irs is behind processing . with shutdown and presidents day . I we can do is pray everyone gets a refund.
