I filed my tax return and it was accepted on feb 2nd it is now March 6th and I still have not received my refund? Does anyone know why? It says delayed ?

The message says delayed beyond the normal time frame and that’s all I keep seeing?? I have received nothing in the mail saying I made a mistake or anything. And I’m not claiming child tax credit or anything that could take more time? Does anyone know why?

The IRS has been severely backlogged for a long time. Many people are getting this message. TurboTax does not get any information after you file your tax return so no one at TT knows a specific reason why you are getting that message. If the IRS wants any other information from you they will let you know by letter. Meanwhile all you can do is wait patiently and watch the IRS site. The IRS is your only source of information.
