I filed my returns and did not check the box that says that I can be claimed as a dependent. However I didn’t claim myself. But my dad claimed me. What do I need to do?

By not checking that box meant you did claim yourself.  Was you file accepted?  Then your Dad's return should reject.  He will have to mail his return. You need to amend your return.

His were already accepted and so were mine

Well 2 returns can't claim the same ssn.  Maybe you did yours right or he did not claim you.  You might want to check each return.

I talked to my dad about it and he said he claimed me

So I’ll be amending my forms tomorrow I believe. And then I need to send them in after I receive my money?
