I filed my federal tax return and now I want to add state tax return. How do I add the state return in turbo tax?

I've already efiled my federal tax return and now I've changed my mind and want to add the CO state tax return via turbo tax.   How do I get this accomplished?

Are you using the desktop  Basic Edition for Mac?  If so, Basic Edition does not come with an included state program.  You can purchase the state program through the interface as an addition to it for 44.99.

To do that, open your return and in the top menubar click on ONLINE menu and in the dropdown choose "Download State" and follow the prompts to purchase a state program.

When you work on the state return, do not make any changes in the Federal return, since it has already been filed.
