I filed my amended taxes and they were accepted on 10/15/20 I was wondering if since I will be receiving a check in the mail will it take longer than 21 days 11/5/20

Yes, the 21 days is if you e-file & choose direct deposit & for an original return. Amended returns can take 6 to 8 weeks to be processed & since the IRS shut down for a while they are behind in processing returns.  So it can take longer than the 6 to 4 weeks to be processed.
