I filed jointly with my spouse. I started on my account, but switched to my spouse's because his is more complicated. Will our return status still update on my account?

No, what you enter in your husband's TurboTax account will not transfer to your account. Each TurboTax account is separate and no link can be made between two accounts.

Thank you so much! My account currently says my return is in progress since I switched mid-way. Do you know if there is a way to let TurboTax "know" that I have finished filing on a separate account? It still says its "in progress" on my account.

Update: I just cleared and started over, which brought me back to as if I had not started a return. I assume if I use this account again for whatever reason, I will just have to enter things manually from previous return info.

You can leave it. As long as you do not file, the information will remain there and nothing is going to happen to it.
