I filed incorrectly on my original return and owed money. I amended my return and filed correctly, resulting in a refund. Do I have to pay my original return?

Yes, the amended return shows the difference, and assumes the first return has been processed. If the original shows a refund, you will still get that refund. If it showed tax due, you still need to pay that tax. 

You could subtract the refund from the tax, and pay the difference, but the payment/refund may cross in the mail and cause confusion.
