The IRS knows the amount of stimulus payment that was sent to you so they will adjust your tax return accordingly if you entered the incorrect amount.  This will delay any federal tax refund you are owed by several weeks or longer.

There is no need to amend the 2021 tax return that was filed.

Where do you see it incorrect?  it does not show up on your return anywhere.  If you are looking at line 30 that is not what you already got but the extra amount you qualify for.
