Did you e-file or mail your return?

If you e-filed, check the status of your return.

Here's help for checking your e-file status:

https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/how-do-i-check-my-e-file-status/01/25538#M91

In TurboTax if you don't see Pending, Accepted, or Rejected as the status, you may not have completed the e-file and you need to Transmit your return.

If you mailed your return:  The IRS asks you wait 4 weeks after you mail your return before looking up your refund at Where's My Refund?

This is what your return has to go through before everything is finished.

Pending: https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4193097

Accepted (this is the last update that TurboTax will get from the IRS): https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/3958820

Processing (the IRS does not inform TurboTax of this stage): https://ttlc.intuit.com/replies/4689484

Approved (TurboTax is not informed of this stage either):  https://ttlc.intuit.com/community/return-status/help/does-accepted-mean-my-refund-is-approved/00/265...

Here is information about your tax return being ACCEPTED:

what if you checked your status and the IRS isn't giving you any info at all. I filled my taxes in February of 2020 and i still can't get info and cannot reach any human to talk to to get some answers.

Currently, things can potentially run a little slower than usual due to the current situation. Please refer to the following updates on the IRS website posted below.
