I entered too much federal estimated tax payments. Just received the correct refund via direct deposit so IRS apparently caught it. Do I have to amend my return?

I skipped the 4th estimated tax payment when I realized I would owe much less than what I had already paid.

no amended return is required because the IRS caught it.  ONLY if you originally had a 2021 overpayment that you applied to 2022 you'll have to adjust. however this would be in Turbotax without actually filing.

otherwise you could be short on 2022 and possibly owe underpayment penalties.
