I entered my interest income twice on the federal and state form and do not know how to make the correction

To get back to your interest reported to you on a 1099-INT in TurboTax, follow the directions below, then you can delete the duplicate entry.

Select Federal Taxes (Personal if using TurboTax Self-Employed or Home and Business)
Select Wages & Income (I'll choose what i work on)
You may need to click on Skip to see all income
Scroll down to Interest and Dividends
Click on Show more and then Interest on1099-INT
