I efiled via turbotax 1040 and scheduled payment for 4/15. amended return on 4/12 lowering tax due, do i need to send in amended amount or will correct amount be payed?

On your 1040x you will need to enter the amount paid with the original return. Based on that, you will either have an extra amount due or a refund.
