I Efiled State & Fed on April 7 and got a "Successful Transmission" message(which I have saved as a graphic) from TT. Why have neither agency received my taxes??This MAY!

This is MAY 2nd! Both agencies say they have received nothing from Turbotax. I'm not taking the hit for penalties. This is on Turbotax/Intuit. How can I contact a human there? Or are there any?

See this TurboTax support FAQ for checking the e-file status - https://ttlc.intuit.com/turbotax-support/en-us/help-article/electronic-filing/check-e-file-status/L9XhHDPtD_US_en_US?uid=lh6jtxe5

Did you e-file your tax return and was it accepted?

You complete your tax return by finishing all 3 Steps in the File section. In Step 3, to e-file your tax return, you must click on the large button labeled "

Transmit my returns now

".

After completing the File section and e-filing your tax return you will receive two emails from TurboTax. The first email when your tax return was transmitted and the second email when the tax return has either been accepted or rejected.

And the "Transmission" notice is (somewhat) immaterial....that just means TTX sent it out.

The IRS still has to indicate they "Accepted" it.  Until it is "Accepted" by the IRS, they won't, have an indication that it was filed.   And the State forms are not sent on until the IRS accepts the filing first.

IF it is "Rejected" by the IRS, then the state forms don't get sent in either, and the filing is recorded as not having been filed at all.

_________

Log in to your TAX account where you e-filed...and see what the status indicates in your actual TTX account.  Does it say "Accepted" yet? or does your actual 2022 tax file indicate it was  Rejected?
