Yes, that is normal. Depending on how large of a backlog the government has, it could say pending for several days. You should receive an email once accepted or rejected though.

I filed & my refund amount was given to me, but when I submitted my taxes it is stating that it is pending & the refund amount says zero dollars. Is this normal?
