I e-filed on 2/13/21 and was getting a refund.

I e-filed my taxes on 2/15/21 and was getting a refund. Up until this week of 3/29/21 it kept saying that it was being processed, then I get a notice that my taxes had been miss calculated and now I owe taxes. All my information was correct that was filled in. TurboTax did my return. How could have this happened

A common adjustment is if you claimed the Recovery rebate credit on 1040 line 30 when you already got the Stimulus payment or got the second one after you filed or reported the wrong amounts or entered the wrong amounts in the 2 boxes.  If you entered the total you got for both rounds in the same box it would think you didn't get the other one.

The IRS will be mailing you a letter, so wait for it.  They do not notify TT.

You said everything was correctly input, but could you have made a data entry error (say, comma v. decimal), or forgotten to claim some income?   Please post back after you hear from the IRS.
