I e-filed my taxes on January 22 and they got accepted on January 23. Some people have filed after me and have already got theirs back. Why is that ?

It takes about 21 days for the IRS to send your refund from the time your e-filed tax return is accepted, it can sometimes can be faster. No two tax returns are the same so refund processing times can vary.
