I e filed both state and Fed taxes last night and now receive an email to file my state and get my refund. What's happening?

When I was first asked how I wanted to get my refund, I put by mail and then changed my mind. I followed the directions, got my AGI and and followed screen directions. I put all my bank info in and thought that was it. I also e-signed. Do you know why I'm being told that my Fed taxes are done but go in and finish my state so I can get my refund? Thank you

Once your Federal return is accepted you can then e-file your state return if they were not actually filed together. Typically it only takes 24-48 hours for a return to be accepted by the IRS.
