I don't want to file using the self employed. How do I change? And is there a fee for direct deposit? If so I'd rather receive a check/

You must pay the TT prep fees with a credit or debit card in order to get a paper refund check,.

Do you have 1099-MISC or cash income?

There is no fee for direct deposit, but there is an extra charge to have your TT prep fees deducted from your Federal refund. You can avoid this by paying with a debit or credit card.

That's helpful, but I would like to change my initial choice on filling taxes.  I want to switch from self-employed to w-2 income.  And, a mailed check rather than direct deposit is desired.
