I don't need to file, but only did for CTC that I don't qualify for this year due to no taxable income. How do I get a refund from Turbo Tax?

Did you use the TurboTax 2022 online editions and pay for the account fees with a credit card?

Yes. I did. I didn't know at the time that there was a change to the CTC, and I had to have taxable income. Apparently I should try a non filers IRS tool? Idk.

For tax year 2022 if you have no income of any kind there is no reason to file a tax return, with or without dependents, since you are not eligible for any type of tax credit based on earned income.
