I don't need to amend my return as I haven't mailed in yet, but I can't seem to just go online to do it. I have to go through all this amend stuff. Help!

If you have not filed your return yet, you do not need to amend.  You only amend a return if it has been filed.  If you are using TurboTax Online simply log into your account and continue your return.  If you are using the desktop version, open your return and complete using the normal work flow.
