I do not have any records of my 2024 1040 form; however I have 2021. I would like to file my tax return but i am unable to.

To access your current or prior year online tax returns sign onto the TurboTax website with the User ID you used to create the account - https://myturbotax.intuit.com/

Scroll down to the bottom of the screen and on the section Your tax returns & documents.  Click on the Year and Click on Download/print return (PDF)

If you used the desktop CD/Download editions installed on your computer, the only copy of your tax data file and any PDF's will be on the computer where the return was created.  TurboTax does not store online any returns completed using the desktop editions.

For a fee of $30 you can get a complete federal tax return from the IRS by completing Form 4506 - http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/f4506.pdf

Your 2021 tax return does not help you file 2025.    You cannot transfer a 2021 tax file in to a 2025 tax return, nor can you use a 2021 AGI in order to e-file 2025.  What exactly are you trying to do?

If you filed timely in 2024, you need the Adjusted Gross Income from line 11 to file 2025. if you used TurboTax online in 2024 see this page for account recovery.

You can also use the IRS website by registering to see what it shows for 2024 - account transcript

As a last resort, you can say you didn't file in 2024. if nothing works, that leaves mailing as the only option
