To change to e-filing:

1. Sign into your account.

2. Click on the My TurboTax menu ( See attachment) and select  Visit My Tax Timeline .

3. Under SOME THINGS YOU CAN DO click on Add a state. (You are not adding a state to your return.  This allows you to get back into your return.)

4. Click on the File tab across the top below the Search option.

5. On the Just one more step screen, follow steps 1 and 2 if you haven't already.

6. Click the Start button to the right of Step 3.

7. This will navigate you to the Here are your filing choices screen, click I'd like to change filing methods.

8. Change your filing method to E-file and click Save.

9. Click Continue and follow the onscreen prompts to e-file your return.

Are you looking at a summary that also shows your fees and shows the amounts for federal and state refunds/tax owed?

I didnt get my full tax return at the end of filling

Are you choosing to mail your tax return instead of e-filing it?

OK---then when you print it out look at line 20a of your federal return.  That shows your refund.  When you print out your state return---look at it.  It will also show you your state refund if you are getting one--or a state tax due if you owe.  Make a copy of those returns for your own records.

When you mail a tax return, you need to attach any documents showing tax withheld, such as your W-2’s or any 1099’s.  Use a mailing service that will track it, such as UPS or certified mail so you will know the IRS received the return.

Remember--federal and state returns must be mailed separately to separate addresses.

When you mail your tax return, wait about 4 weeks and then check the IRS site:
