I didn't realize my father claimed me as a dependent and now I can not get to my file and change that I was claimed as a dependent. I see the FAQ answer but I can't do what it says to do on the app

If you have not filed your return yet, you can open it and go to the Personal Info section and check the box that you can be claimed as a dependent.

If you have already filed a return, you will have to prepare, print and mail an amended return form 1040X to change it. Do not make the change before you start the amended return. Here is a link with instructions:

To get back into your return after printing or e-filing, please follow these steps:
1. In TurboTax Online, sign into your account.
2. Select Tax Home in the left menu.
3. Scroll down to Your tax returns & documents.
4. Select 2019, and then select Add a State (You're not actually adding a state, this just gets you into the right menu).
5. Once you're in your return you can navigate around as usual.
