I didn't get my full refund back. Nothing was wrong with my filing. It looks like this happening with lots of people.

How much is missing?  if it is 1400 or 2800 it might be for the 3rd stimulus check.  You might have tried to claim it on line 30 but the IRS shows they already sent it to you.

It's more than that. You're talking the 2021 stimulus check? I never got that.

not uncommon because taxpayers are omitting items from their return or entering the wrong amount.   2 most common errors - EIP 3 and the advance child tax credit.

Go back and double check your bank account.  Many people either forgot or did not notice that they already received the $1,400 but when they go back through their bank records they find it was deposited.  The deposits occurred as early as March and as late as December. You may want to check your January and February bank records too as some received letters in December saying the stimulus payment was being processed.
