Did you receive a notice in the mail from the IRS to verify your identity?

You can check the IRS website to be sure that you filed.

If there's no indication the you did, you can check your tax return.
If you want to know the status of your tax return, you should use the
IRS Where's My Refund website.

You'll need

Your Social Security or individual taxpayer ID number (ITIN)
Your filing status
The exact refund amount on your return
