I did not enter payments for 2017 MA state estimated taxes, how do I go about making an amendment
My checks has been sent and cashed. Can I have the refund credited to my 2018 tax year?

I did not enter payments for 2017 MA state estimated taxes, how do I go about making an amendment
If you made payments for MA estimated taxes during 2017, you will need to file an amended return (if your original tax return has been filed and accepted) in order have the effect of your estimated payments taken into account on your return. You will not be able to deduct them as payments for 2018, so you will want to have them recorded on your 2017 return.
