Hm, sticky. Which part is spelled wrong? You may be able to let it slide by. I think the IRS matches on the SSN, DOB and first 4 letters of the name.
To correct the return now, since turbotax online is closed, you need a copy of your tax data file, which you can download, and you need a copy of turbotax to install on your computer. You can get a downloadable installer from turbotax. This is normally something you have to buy. If you filed using the free version, you will need to call customer support and see if they can help you. If you filed using a paid version of turbotax online, you will again need to call customer support and ask for the price to be applied to a download.
Then your next problem is that turbotax 2015 for the mac requires system 10.9 or higher. Your user info here says you are using 10.5, so unless you can upgrade your mac, or borrow someone else's mac or PC, you won't be able to install and run the software anyway.
A second possibility is to download a copy of the PDF of your tax file and then use the Pro version of Adobe Acrobat to directly edit your child's name to correct the spelling directly on page 1 of the form, then print out a new copy of the edited page. Other PDF editing software may also be able to do this.
A third possibility is to download and print a blank form 1040 or 1040A from the IRS web site and hand-write your tax info into the form, copying the turbotax info and correcting the child's name. Be sure to sign the bottom of page 2. If you have other turbotax printed forms you can keep them and mail them with the handwritten pages, just don't mail the original incorrect form 1040 or 1040A. Make sure you get the form that says 2015 at the top. The IRS is in the middle of changing over and as of this minute, 2015 is the "current year" but if you wait a few days, 2016 might be current and 2015 might be found under "prior years".

Customer support hours are given below. Use the phone number in the email that was sent. Or, use the secure form to get a phone number if you think the email might be phony. You will get an appropriate phone number for your issue. (You will not get a phone number if you use the link outside of operating hours.)
