I did my State taxes through TurboTax and it indicates my refund is $14,100.00 dollars can this be accurate. It indicates it was accepted by the IRS.

Your state tax return did not go to the IRS. It went to your state. And that sounds like a huge state refund, so you probably made a mistake and added some zeros or misplaced a decimal point someplace when you entered amounts for the state. If the state accepted your return, expect a delay since it will probably go under review.
