I completed my Federal tax forms and in that I completed the W2-G. Since I did that do I need to do a form for the state of Virginia as well?

You only need to enter the W-2G on the federal return - TurboTax automatically transfers your income to your resident state return. Only enter the income one time, in the Less Common Income section.
