I chose direct deposit but my state came as paper check. Now I think my federal is gonna come paper check. Why??

Just curious as to why it didn't come directly to me. Is there a chance my federal will come directly to me.

The most likely reason for this is that there was a problem with the account information that you entered. It could be an issue you bank is having or you could have accidentally entered a number wrong, lots of possibilities.

Sadly since you have already finished filing there's no way to change anything, and you can expect your federal to come in the mail as well.
