I can't find an employer's EIN number and cannot find my 2015 tax return How do I get this number?

TurboTax and the IRS save tax returns for seven years. A 2015 return is gone unless you saved a hard copy or a pdf on your own hard drive. Why do you want an EIN from an employer from almost ten years ago?
